In a futuristic world where cyborgs have become the norm in society, Sun works for CTR, a “research” organization that is actually focused on wiping out cyborgs. 

His newest assignment sends him to Florence to infiltrate Affamato, a powerful cyborg-run operation that basically acts like its own small government. His partner is Wrench, a cyborg monkey he can barely stand.
 

The mission falls apart almost immediately. Sun is killed in an explosion and then wakes up inside Wrench’s body. Now he is stuck as the very thing he has hated his whole life.
 

With no way back and Wrench’s core chip in his possession, Sun abandons CTR’s agenda and decides his new purpose is bringing the real Wrench back. To survive inside Affamato, he has to pretend to be the quiet, harmless RoboMonkey while blending into the lowest ranks and navigating a dangerous political structure led by powerful cyborgs like Maria.
