In a future where a cyborg mafia rule Florence, Italy, a human cyborg-hunter Sun and his cyborg-monkey partner Wrench are sent to infiltrate them. When the mission goes awry, Sun is killed and wakes up trapped in the body of his hated cyborg partner, Wrench. To save the real Wrench, he must masquerade as him inside the deadly Affamato mafia, navigating deadly politics, powerful cyborgs and a world he's spent his life fighting against. Sun is adjusting to his new body while going on missions with his ragtag crew, Sector 2, the so-called "Garbage Squad." They're summoned to a meeting with Affamato's upper echelon, where they meet their unnerving leader, Maria. She drops a bomb: there's a traitor in their midst, and she's assigning higher ups to keep a close eye on each sector. Now, Sun and his crew have to deal with the Sector 1 addition to their team... an erratic, dangerous speedster named Bruno.
